Gordie Chambers is a French indie folk singer-songwriter born in Rouen. From his childhood in Normandy surrounded by wheat fields and high tides to the years spent in Cape Town, Berlin, and Paris, he has always drawn on his natural environment for the sensitivity that feeds his music. Today he is inspired by nature and wide-open spaces to sing the beauty of the present moment.

 

Chambers’ folk music inspired by Bon Iver, Bob Dylan, and The Tallest Man On Earth, evokes the ballads of a lost traveler. It is in this Anglo-Saxon musical current that Gordie takes us with very personal arrangements putting the voice in the spotlight.
